Dr. Aileen Bumphus, PhD, is an accomplished higher education leader, scholar, and educator serving as Assistant Professor of Practice at The University of Texas at Austin. With more than three decades of experience spanning K–12 and higher education systems, she is widely recognized for her commitment to student success, servant leadership, and the development of inclusive educational pathways from early childhood through graduate and professional studies. She also pursued postdoctoral study at The University of Texas at Austin, further deepening her expertise in higher education leadership and equity-focused research.
Throughout her career, Dr. Bumphus has emphasized the importance of mentorship, creativity, and experiential learning as essential components of student development.
